Alright, so just to fill the aching gap that is my lack of uploads (I really need to get a fucking scanner of my own...) I am going to pull out a few stuff off my Diigo masterlist of recs and my personal bookmarks to throw into this fine mess I call my deviantart account.

Okay! starting off!

Anime recommendation:

Synopsis: The story takes place in the ideal city "NO.6" in 2013. Shion was judged as having "highest-ranked intelligence" when he was two years old and was allowed to live in the luxurious area "Cronos". On his twelfth birthday, he met a beautiful boy called "Nezumi," who had escaped from a reformatory. Shion protected him, but the Public Security Bureau deprived Shion of all his privileges and expelled him from Cronos to "Lost Town"...

My opinion: this anime brings up the best and the worst in me. Worst, since my high school fangirl self still clings like a lint in the ass of my pants, and the best since I can actually appreciate this anime without thinking of how hot they'd be together in bed. The relationship between Nezumi and Shion is what brought me into this series, it's intimate without it being sexual and I honest to god appreciate that. Their co-dependence isn't so overbearing that they can't live without the other, but more like they really bring out the best in each other. My one qualm is how shallow everyone else seems to be, I liked the character Safu for the fact that she's assertive without being too in your face -like most anime girls- but using her as a plot device lowered my respect for her. I find the Dogkeeper very endearing that I want him/her as a younger sibling. All in all, I'm looking forward to how the anime ends and I think it's going to be one of those animes that might be worth keeping in my DVD collection.

Oh and if you're wondering what Charles' role in this fic is? That's your incentive to read this inventive little (read: potentially long) fic!

My opinion: It's a fucking crossover between Inception and X-Men first class, if that doesn't catch your attention I don't know what will. Everything about it is amazing; the plot (god the plot) kept EVERYONE on the edge of their seat, the characters were brilliant and deep. The fusion between both movies was flawless, the author took the X-men characters and placed them into the Inception universe and gave them a niche to live in. And it is BEAUTIFUL.

Synopsis:Crossover fic between XMFC and the TV show White Collar. I have never watched the show but I do understand the concept behind it and I honestly appreciate the perfect fusion of both worlds into this brilliant little 'verse. Their powers remain intact, certain aspects and dynamics of the movie could be seen through out the fic, and the fact that every character is presented in such a likable way and completely on par with their movie counter-parts makes this fic something fresh to read. Charles is especially adorable in a "he's kind of the devil but I still love him" kind of way.

My opinion: Same as the synopsis. The characters are absolutely lovable, the world the author created for this fic is so vibrant. the relationships between everyone in the fic is so engaging, Charles and Erik especially, but Alex and Hank stole my heart in this one.  My one peeve though is the fact that it's been dragging. So. Very. Much.

Synopsis: Charles runs a daycare center. Erik is in over his head.

My opinion: I'm a sucker for kid fics and this one just pulled at my heartstrings. It's fluffy, yes, but there's just something about Charles running a daycare with Erik as his engineer boyfriend that I think is just amusing.

Synopsis: This story starts exactly where you'd expect it to start: drunk, in a library.

My opinion: incredibly OOC but it does not fucking matter. What really draws the audience into this universe is the universe itself. Erik and Charles are the president and vice president of a Fraternity of drunk assholes and for some crazy reason, it just clicks. The camaraderie between every character (as well as the characters themselves) are so well defined that it's nearly tangible. Creepily enough this fic has an insane cult following that I really can't comprehend but occasionally lurk with. It's really worth it to read even if you have to imagine that these guys are characters who just so happen to have the same name as the X-men.

My opinion: My favorite Merlin/Arthur fic of all time. I don't even know what to say to be honest, the story was just so.....Epic, to say the least . I actually listened to this as an audio book narrated by the author herself and oh my god, I never thought I'd cheer for a fic as much as this, by the time it got to the climax where Arthur....well....you guys would have to read it. But the thing is, I was screaming for joy in my car. Read it and enjoy the same euphoria I did.

My opinion: I LOVE Gwaine. That is all I'm saying. No not really, what I adore about this fic is how it took the story of Gwaine and the green knight and made it relevant (and slashy) to the series. I shall hold this one as one of the high standards of Gwaine/Merlin, that is...until I finish The Five Kingdoms...

As a rule, Arthur had given up on chafing at the near-constant swirl of people that came along with his shockingly over-scheduled days. Still, once in a while the itch and suffocation of being monitored twenty-four hours a day grew too much, and he found himself tiptoeing down mostly deserted hospital hallways trying to hide from his handlers.

My opinion: Funny, romantic, adorable and oh so good. There's a sequel to this that's a reaction fic to the Royal Wedding where it's Arthur and Merlin that gets married.

Nevertheless, I've been around. I just don't post that much fan art as of late because University was all up in my bum, and unfortunately I'm not one of those BAMF artists/writers out there who don't need any sleep and could crank up copious amounts of fanstuffs in a span of one week.

I'm an average human being whose trying to get her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant, and I do need whatever free time I have.

Regardless, I'm trying to revive all my old haunts, because I need a good stress reliever. And I think it's high time that I make this hobby of mine be my own personal therapy.

So I discovered the Supernatural Kink Meme in Live Journal as well as their Delicious bookmarks where they archive all the filled prompts. The page is very well organized I have to say; in a way starting from the series, pairing (Sam/Dean, Dean/Cas, etc.), kink and secondary kink/pairing. So if I wanted to go look for a Dean/Cas fic where one of them's a vampire in a BDSM scenario with one of them wearing a ball gag I could just click on the right tabs and Tah-Dah!

Just for fun I paid close attention to the tabs that were used the most often. I din't bother looking at the Sam/Dean ones or the RPS/RPF; as much as I love to slash two male characters together, I draw the line on incest, and fanfics about real people in imaginary relationships just doesn't compute. I'm a Dean/Cas girl all the way (well maybe a bit of a Sam/Cas too, but meh), so I spent a few minutes making a tally of the most used bookmarked kinks.

I have a rather mixed reaction about this: first of all my favorite kink isn't even on this list! Second, at least my second favorite is up there (hurt/comfort). Third, I'm surprised that the most disturbing kinks are the ones that are most used.

So I am now under the impression that people/women love it when a dominant!Dean dresses up as a priest while having rough sex with a virgin submissive!Cas (who probably doesn't want it but enjoys it anyway) while Sam watches in the sidelines eating Milk Duds. They (including Sam) cuddle afterwards since Castiel feels utterly violated (fulfilling my 'hurt/comfort' kink), and the whole time; Dean strokes Cas' wings making him even more aroused thus starting the process once again, but this time Sam came along too, making a Winchester sandwich with angel filling.

I have decided -once again- to try my hand at going electric this semester. As in, take all my notes in my laptop as well as study off of them. The last time I had done this I completely lost track of almost every single note that I have ever written. I had this really pathetic experience back Freshman year where I took all my notes in East Asian Studies in my computer and organized them by Topic, with every country having their own personal color; Japan was Purple, China was Red, and Korea was Blue. I mixed the topics for every country, such as the Syntax and Syllable organization of Japan somehow became Korea's and China's wasn't even written down.

I'm pathetically disorganized that way.

So this semester, I'm trying my hand on this thing called "Organization".

Such a novelty; Organization.

So hard to master too...

Although, to be honest; it's not that I don't rely on electronic devices for none other than just writing my final draft. I just don't trust myself to stay focused if I'm in front of my computer. Try sitting in a class of 500 students with a professor droning on and on about a probably outdated theory at 8:30 in the morning.

I've made my Google Chrome browser heavily efficient in several kinds of research, blogging, and browsing. It's preset to web pages that would probably get me distracted for hours on end. And thanks to this little girl who now lives in Florida: I have a digital Dalmatian to feed and walk every twelve hours or else it will crap on it's own house.

However! I must NOT blame this on Google Chrome or Tam who gave me an online Dalmatian named Scotch. It's my Junior Year in College and I really need to be focused. Four/ 2.5 more semesters before I apply for PT training...I hope

I've always known that the Philippines had a talent for parodies that would put even Weird Al Yankovic to shame. When I was a kid I listened to Parokya ni Edgar's salute to pizza pie using their own rendition of "I Will Survive" www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI7qqG… and then there's Bubble Gang and their gag skit about Star Wars and "Darth Bading"; Literally translated as "Darth Homo", as much as I want to find the video, I can't seem to find one at the moment. there was also a Bananas in Pajamas parody involving corn, as well as a Telletubbies parody. Finaly, Pokemon became Puke-mo (literally translates as "Your Genitals" or to be more specific "Your Vagina").

And somehow it makes me feel happy to have been born in that country XD. Just, wow, I think this is a gem worth seeing, especially if you kinda understand tagalog and enjoy Lady Gaga (which I kinda dont) even though it's half in tagalog the english subs that came along with it might help out a bit, I kinda have to apologize about the puns...

But really, someone like me who enjoys a well made parody thoroughly enjoyed this.

My feelings range from that of a fangirl when John Barrowman kissed David Tennant in Comic-con 2009 www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbGyCZ… to my default face whilst I read any form of literature, insanely critical. Actually theres also a side of cracking up like the closet maniac that I am since I could just imagine Sam and Dean using japanese honorifics. Come on imagine it with me: "Sam-chan!" or "Dean-kun!" or to be more concise with the proper pronunciation "Samu-kun!" or "Deenu-san!"....I could go on and on with this so I think I should stop...

but anyways: from what I had picked up from IGN and Anime News Network, the series would come out some time next year. AND it's being developed by the same people who have created Death Note....Makes me want to look forward to this series, but I really should take this news with a grain of salt (hah Supernatural reference, just had to do it). The anime would run the series from season 1 to 2 (which means Castiel isn't in it T.T), with the addition of bonus family background stuff that were never discussed in the original series. This would mean that the animators would either work with Kripke with some of the plot and background arrangements, or not consult with him at all. Although either way I imagine tons of japanese mannerisms as well as a lack of rock music (le gasp!), and the "Bitch and Jerk" banter that often occur between the Winchester siblings. On a brighter note: Supernatural got international (to be precise: Eastern) recognition!

Anyways I would talk more about stuff but I have come to the realization and decision that writing long winded writing in Deviantart is one giant clutter of unnecessary stuff and so forth. I have created a Blogger account so whenever I do have something to write about what ever stuff I've seen/done/heard I would write it there instead of here.
